When you book Funk City Band, we ask you to send us a playlist of your favourite songs — The songs you will dance to, and we’ll play those! With over 1,000+ songs in our repertoire spanning the last four decades, we can almost always play what you love. ABBA, Whitney Houston, Queen, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Chappell Roan — it’s all there. A Full Day of Live Music — From Ceremony to Last Dance
One thing we get asked a lot is what happens between the sets. Silence? Not with us. Every booking includes a free playlist DJ service — before we play, during our breaks, and right through until midnight. We also offer ceremony music, and if you want something a little more intimate for the drinks reception, our acoustic party duo is perfect for that golden hour feel while your guests mingle. And if you have a first dance song in mind we’ll learn it. Properly. Live. On the night. We cover weddings right across the South West, not just Bath. We’ve got the music covered from start to finish.

There’s a moment at a lot of wedding receptions where the energy dips. The meal’s done, people are chatting, and nobody quite wants to be the first one on the dance floor. We’ve been doing this long enough to know exactly how to handle that moment — and it involves getting US off the stage. We use wireless microphones & guitar rigs so we can move freely through the crowd, bringing the energy directly to your guests. If you’re having a party and want a brilliant band that actually gets the vibe and gets people dancing (and you just can’t wait)— get in touch. We’d love to be part of your night. If you have a wedding or event in a different place we are local to Bath, Wiltshire Bristol, Somerset and Reading too although we travel absolutely everywhere. Except the moon. When people dance too much in zero gravity they have a tendency to float off which can cause problems.
