We mainly play fun, upbeat PARTY songs for dancing. See a big set list below and you can make any request too! One great thing that sets us aside from other party bands is… we’d ask you to make a playlist of ‘songs you will dance too’ and from that set list we’ll just play those! Simples. How to Create the Perfect Setlist for a Fun Event

A great set list is the secret to an unforgettable event. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate party, or private celebration, the right mix of songs keeps the energy high and the dance floor packed. At Funk City Band, we’ve mastered the art of crafting setlists that get guests singing, dancing, and having the time of their lives.

1. Start Strong

Your opening song sets the tone. A lively, well-known classic like “Uptown Funk” (Bruno Mars) or “I Want You Back” (Jackson 5) instantly grabs attention and gets people moving. We often start out live set with “Crazy little thing called love” by Queen. 

2. Keep It Familiar & Fun

People love songs they can sing along to! Mixing Motown, pop, rock, and indie hits ensures a broad appeal. Favorites like “Dancing Queen” (ABBA), “Shut Up and Dance” (Walk The Moon), and “Don’t Stop Believin’” (Journey) are guaranteed crowd-pleasers.
