We’re Funk City Band – a band that’s played weddings in Devon for the past two decades. From clifftop ceremonies with killer sea views to festival-style parties in wildflower meadows, we’ve seen (and played) it all. And let’s just say… Devon weddings hit different.

First of all, the venues. Think rustic barns in Dartmoor, luxury country estates near Exeter, or those dreamy boho tipis hidden in the South Hams. Live Music That Actually Gets People Dancing

We’re not just a Devon wedding band. We’re the kind of band that hops offstage mid-song and dances with your nan. (She always steals the show anyway.)

Whether you go for our tight little 3-piece line-up, our FAB 4 piece or the full 7-piece party monster with horns and all the bells, whistles, and glorious sax solos, we’re bringing the good times. Funk. Soul. Pop. Indie. Cheesy bangers if you ask nicely. You name it, we play it.

The First Dance, the Last Encore, and Everything In-Between

We can perform your first dance live. (Tears, guaranteed.) We’ll fill the floor with your favourite tunes. We’ll even MC your cake cutting if you want. And if you’ve got that one cousin who insists we play “Mr Brightside” twice… fine. We get it.

And when we’re done? We’ll switch to our pro DJ setup to keep things rolling ‘til the venue says stop. All you have to do is keep dancing (and maybe send us a piece of cake if there’s any left).
